I needed m4 screws to mount my tv. Came in told them what I needed and they directed me to it right away. Friendly knowledgeable employees, they even guessed I was mounting a tv.
Don’t know how to sharpen a chainsaw chain. Brought Stihl chainsaw chains to be looked at as they were sharpened by Ace last fall and I just got around to use them this year. The chains I received last fall after sharpening all pulled to the left. I stated that they must have only sharpened one side of the teeth. As I had this issue before with Ace and the manager agreed that was the problem the first time. I spoke with Chris who is the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered. I have never dealt with such a know it all and the customer is always wrong attitude like this in my life. Chris the know it all, stated that it was impossible for the chains to be sharpened wrong as the guy who sharpens them knows what he’s doing. Then proceeds to tell me that my bar oil is the issue as I wasn’t using Stihl brand or I hit metal in tree. I was cutting top limbs off a dead ash. Then proceeds to argue with me because the chains were dirty and had oil on them. “No kidding” know it all. I tried all the chains that been sharpened and they all pulled to the left. Since when does bar oil cause you chain to pull to the left??? I bought a new chain that day and it cut like butter. I left the chains there to be resharpened. When I went to pick them up there was a lovely note left on the chains saying I was a liar. I did not see the note until I got home. Unacceptable behavior of an employee. The chains were sharp this time. But all the rakers were ground down to nothing. So the chains rip into the wood and pull the logs into you when using creating a very dangerous kickback chain bounce situation. Stay far away from Ace for sharpening and don’t waste your time on any stihl products there. You will be harassed by the resident know it all about how everything you do is wrong. I will be contacting the owner about replacing all my chains and about the rude behavior of Chris.
Helpful staff but way too cramped store.
Friendly helpful service. Great inventory of hardware parts, screws, bolts, etc. You pay a little more for the convenience, service, and speed of finding what you need.
Is a dive bar/restaurant in a nice area. Good food average price
